Job description
Under the authority of the plant manager and/or maintenance manager, the Electrical Mechanic must ensure the proper operation of the mechanical equipment and the plant. To do so, they must establish repair priorities that meet production needs and ensure adequate maintenance to prevent wear and breakage.
Tasks
- Perform regular inspections of equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical or electronic failures
- Carry out the necessary repairs
- Adjust and calibrate machines
- Install new electromechanical equipment
- Participate in start-up and functional tests
Responsibilities
- Propose improvements to optimize the operation of equipment
- Participate in the technical update of the installations
- Maintain response sheets and technical reports
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards
- Comply with factory safety rules
Qualifications required
- DEP in Electromechanical
- Knowledge of electricity, electronics, automation and mechanics
- Reading of technical plans and diagrams
- Ability to quickly diagnose a failure
- Good physical condition and rigor
- Ability to work in a team
